    Junior Police Cadets is open to young men and women in Middle and High School with an interest in learning more about careers in the field of Law Enforcement. The Police Explorer Program helps youth gain insight into a variety of programs that offer hands-on career activities. They benefit by gaining leadership qualities, learning academically, acquiring skills they will utilize for life experiences, and focusing on Developing Productive Active Leaders.   
  Peer Tutoring is held at the North Miami Senior High School and PAL Training Facility during the Winter to Spring semesters. Peer tutoring is held Monday through Thursday from 2:30 - 5pm at North Miami Senior High School and Monday through Thursday from 2:45 - 5:45pm at PAL Training Facility. Our selected PAL tutors create a comfortable environment for their peers, while establishing a bond and helping them exceed academically.     
    Basketball is held at North Miami Senior High and North Miami Middle School. PAL's basketball program encourages good sportsmanship, developing strong playing skills, and promoting friendly relationships among players, coaches, and others. PAL of North Miami in partnership with National Basketball Retired Players Association will be having a Basketball Camp on June 10-13, 2013.  
  Track and Field is held at North Miami Senior High School. Athletes stay healthy and fit, while striving for higher competition and reaching their ultimate goals.     
    PAL of North Miami Boxing teaches self defense, discipline and team work, while getting the kids in shape. Annual Boxing Tournaments are held to help raise funds for PAL and create friendly competition for the youth.
